In the discussion of any home choice the Five Ws or Five Ws and one H, or the Six Ws are questions whose answers are considered basic in your information-gathering. They are often mentioned in journalism (cf. news style), research, and police investigations.[1] They constitute a formula for getting the complete story on a subject.[2] According to the principle of the Five Ws, a report can only be considered complete if it answers these questions starting with an interrogative word:[3]
Who did that?
What happened?
Where did it take place?
When did it take place?
Why did that happen?
Some authors add a sixth question, “how”, to the list, though "how" can also be covered by "what", "when", or "where":[3]
How did it happen?
Each question should have a factual answer — facts necessary to include for a report to be considered complete.[4] Importantly, none of these questions can be answered with a simple "yes" or "no".

And Due diligence is an investigation of a business or person prior to signing a contract, or an act with a certain standard of care.
It can be a legal obligation, but the term will more commonly apply to voluntary investigations. A common example of due diligence in various industries is the process through which a potential acquirer evaluates a target company or its assets for an acquisition.[1] The theory behind due diligence holds that performing this type of investigation contributes significantly to informed decision making by enhancing the amount and quality of information available to decision makers and by ensuring that this information is systematically used to deliberate in a reflexive manner on the decision at hand and all its costs, benefits, and risks.[2

 BEFORE you do anything, Please make sure the unit you’re considering is LEGALLY there. This part of due diligence is vital to your success. And if the unit has to be moved from where it is now located, when do you have to move it by and where can you LEGALLY relocate it to?

Michelle said: I have the opportunity to buy one of these little motorhomes. And I have no idea what to offer the guy for it. The truck has no rust that I am aware of, but otherwise pretty rough. I think about 74,000 kms on it. Dirty, and hasn't been used for years. Motor runs rough... (not original motor) ripped drivers seat, lots of silicone around windows and exterior lights. I know the water works, but propane etc. is unknown. Tires are probably original. :I I don't want to offend the guy, but really don't know what to offer him either. I know he got it for a good deal! But I don't think he will pass the good deal onto me. Any idea what I should offer him? I really don't want to miss out on it, because I am cheap... This is the only one that I have come across. Michelle I live in Manitoba, but I am originally from Quesnel, BC. I also lived in Victoria for a few years, and really liked the island. I am almost 50 with three kids and a fetish for Bolers. I have 2 good Bolers, 2 parts Bolers, and one Trillium. The 2 good Bolers, and the Trillium will be passed on to my kids. But now I have come across this funky little motorhome that is just like a Boler. I like odd things! I have a 1991 convertable firefly, 2002 audi tt convertable, 2 suzuki x-90's, and the list goes on and on. That is it for now. Talk again soon.

THI  Anyway, my experience of living in RV's, Tiny Homes has always been finding a place to locate it, acceptable to authorities. AND DON’T TAKE A PROPERTY OWNERS WORD. Go to the local authorities!  Prices in B.C. have plummeted for old RV’s since people are now not legally allowed to burn the units to salvage the metal. Best price for the unit for you is the lowest possible, depending on your ability to locate and ability to renovate the unit. I really do not like propane (Go Gas - Go Boom) and opt to take them out in exchange for all electric. Same with holding tanks. And at least 2 battery operated smoke alarms. Very cheap insurance.
